In Other News...

Just a quick update on what we've been up to:

-Danny has started his Malt-O-Meal internship. With 3 bags of cereal a day, we are going to drown in it :) But Danny seems to like it so far and I'm sure he is doing well! He is working on a new project and I'll try to explain it: You know how you have those crumbs and broken bits of cereal at the bottom of your cereal bag? Danny is going to work on a project which will allow him to follow cereal line process, from start to finish, to see where cereal is lost along the way. There are 9 stages that he will be taking samples from and working with so that the maximum amount of full cereal is in every bag they make. I hope that makes sense. It's pretty cool. The corporate plant in Minnesota sent him an intern bag, which had a Malt-O-Meal bowl, spoon, pencil, M&M's, a Subway gift card, a Starbucks coupon and coupons for other kinds of Malt-O-Meal cereal.

Pretty cool!

-I am taking 3 classes this summer: History of Utah, Family Resource Management and my personal fave...Human Sexuality (not!). I'm taking classes during the summer so that I can graduate a semester after Danny does (Danny: Fall 2012, Me: Spring 2013). It will be a full summer with these classes, but they seem alright so far!

...that's about it...But keep reading! I've posted 2 other posts! :)

  3. We are so happy for the two of you! Sounds like things are going so well with the internship. Who knew that they wanted to keep track of broken cereal! Danny's just the man for the job!

  4. I gotta say that I really love Danny's internship. :) Also, I forgot to ask you how your classes are going last night. Summer classes can be pretty hard, but I'm sure you're handling them so well!
