Currently, I'm 12 weeks along and have lucked out on most morning sickness, although I've had some issues in the past weeks with maintaining an appetite while eating. But other than that, I can't complain too much. *fingers crossed*
We found out we were expecting about 7 weeks ago and have been dying to announce it, but we wanted to wait until after the 12 week appointment to make sure everything was going well with the baby. Today, we saw the baby moving around quite a bit and even saw it hiccup a few times :) Luckily, my doctor said she will do an ultrasound on the first 4 appointments so that we can see the baby grow. She said that if the baby cooperates for the next appointment (1/29/12), we may be able to know the sex of the baby! *fingers crossed*
I found this blog that this lady has done about her progress during her pregnancy. She did a weekly update (I don't know if I will at first) and had some questions she'd answer each week about different things that happened, what she was craving, etc. So I'll try to post updates of our little one after each appointment.

Total weight gain: -5 pounds (yes, I've lost weight since we found out...but I'm sure it won't last long)
Maternity clothes: Not yet, but got some for Christmas
Sleep: Had weird dreams last night, but nothing too crazy ;)
Best moment this week: Seeing the baby moving like crazy & knowing that everything is going well.
Miss anything: Eating a whole meal
Movement: We saw it, but I can't feel anything
Food cravings: nothing really yet, but I'm partial to macaroni & cheese and ice cream

Symptoms: loss of appetite, weird dreams, excessive salivation...that's about it
