Danny's Minnesota Trip

For those of you who don't know, Danny got to go on a trip to Minnesota to the HQ of Malt-O-Meal for an internship thing! All of the interns in the company went and they toured the huge, million square-foot plant that they have there. They also got to meet a lot of people within the company and have some fun, too!

Danny was able to go to the Mall of America:

He also got to see other parts of Minnesota, like downtown Minneapolis:

Danny also got to go to a Minnesota Twins MLB game against the Kansas City Royals (Minnesota won!):

Overall, he had a great trip and learned a lot! I missed him quite a bit while he was gone, but I was able to do some homework and watch the most amazing thing ever - A&E's Pride and Prejudice! It was great! :)

Crafty Stuff

I need to post about the crafty stuff I've made...I'm pretty proud of it!

Here's a baby car seat cover that I made for my sister-in-law, Stephanie, and their new baby, Ruby. She found a pattern online that she liked and wanted me to make one for her. She picked out the fabric (so cute!) and it turned out pretty good. 

I'm hoping to make more and maybe sell them! They are super easy to make.

I also made myself a new purse. I like it a lot! My old one was falling apart, so I needed something new. Plus, there is a new quilt shop in Logan that I needed to check out. It's very cute.

2 Months Behind...

I'm sure all two of you who read our blog have been worried about us. Yes, it's been 2 months since we last made an update! The past two months have just flown by. Since our last post, we've:

- Gotten fish!!!

- Went to the zoo...

Visited graves for Memorial Day

Hiked up to the Wind Caves in Logan Canyon

Celebrated the 4th of July

(Can't you tell we're celebrating? :P )

Went to a demolition derby

And saw Harry Potter!

Whew, that's a lot to catch up on, I'm sorry! I've been so busy with work and school that by the end of the day, I don't feel like blogging.

But I have to say, we got a new computer and it is AWESOME!!! Uploading pictures took like two seconds, whereas on our old computer, would have taken like 10 minutes per picture. :)

So hopefully I can keep up a little bit better than I have been...we shall see.
