March and April Quilt Blocks

I'm a little behind on my quilting, but these are my March and April blocks for my calendar thing I'm making. 

My rick-rack (the wavy stuff) doesn't look to great, but I think it turned out alright!

 

Danny's 23rd Birthday!

Sorry, I'm a little behind, but last Wednesday was Danny's 23rd birthday! Here are just a few highlights of his day:

* I made him breakfast!

*During my lunch, I met up with him and we shared some Jamba Juice.

*After school and work, Danny opened his presents from me. I bought him two shirts from JCPenny and a Paul Cardall CD. 

* We had to go to JCPenny to swap out a shirt (I got the wrong size). 

*Then we went to Fredrico's for dinner. It's a pizza place that's kind of by campus and it was super yummy!

* After dinner, we headed over to Danny's sisters house to enjoy in some Cherry Yum-Yum (instead of cake or pie). It's turned out very Yummy! Here are some pictures:

Danny was grateful for all of the birthday wishes. He mentioned that last year, he only had 5 birthday wishes on his Facebook wall and this year he had a lot more, I think about 20. 

But before yesterday, Danny had some earlier birthday fun. Last weekend, Danny's parents and one of his sisters, Stephanie, came up to Logan to celebrate. We went to eat at Texas Roadhouse (yummy!) and Danny got even more gifts! :) He got a new tackle box with some fishing gear from his parents and a Big 5 gift card from his sister. 

All in all, I think Danny had a great birthday! Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!
