So, it's been 20 days since May 8th, so I suppose we should update!
May 8th was the most perfect day we could have asked for. The weather was amazing and everyone came to celebrate our special day with us. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple and it was beautiful! Our photographer, Becky Cowley, took our pictures and she posted some of the wedding pictures up on her blog. She did an amazing job for us and I can't wait to see the rest of them! Here is one of my favorites.
One of the highlights of the reception was when all of the guys in the wedding party donned fake mustaches, including our 4-month-old nephew, Cannon. I really didn't want any one at all to wear a mustache, and this was a fun way for them to wear one without giving the bride a heart attack. It was so funny and I will definitely post some pictures up when I get them.
After we left the stake center, amidst a down-pour of bubbles and silly string, we picked up Danny's car and headed off into the sunset (by sunset, I mean the glowing lights of Salt Lake). We spent our first night together at the Anniversary Inn, compliments of Danny's parents (thank you!). We stayed in the Bridal Veil Falls room and it was awesome!
The next morning, we were on our way to Yellowstone. We stayed in West Yellowstone for 4 days. We saw a lot of wildlife: buffalo, elk, pronghorn, geese, moose, and even a bear with her cub. We also saw Old Faithful (twice), the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, as well as a bunch of water falls and geysers. It snowed on us a couple of times while we were there, but overall, it was pretty nice weather.
After 4 days, we then traveled down to Jackson, where we would stay in Teton Village for the next 2 nights. We went through all of Grand Teton National Park and saw some beautiful sights! We also saw 2 more moose, deer, elk and buffalo. The mountains were really gorgeous, as well as the lakes.
We had a fabulous honeymoon and here are some fun pictures of our trip!
Here we are, being very touristy at the sign!
Buffalo were everywhere!
Funny story: The buffalo were really close at this pull off area so we decided to get out of the car and get some pictures. This lady in the truck next to us saw us get out and saw what I was wearing. She then said, kind of loudly, 'Oh no! She's wearing red! They don't like that.' (They - meaning the buffaloes) So funny because as I moved to get my picture taken, the buffaloes actually moved away.
Danny at the Lower Falls, looking studly. :)
Here we are in front of the Tetons.

Here we are at Bear Lake on our way home.
We had a blast! :) Thanks for making our wedding awesome!
